We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in our continued growth. **Job Title: Finance Manager**
**Location: North Cumbria, based at 9 Northumberland Street, Carlisle, CA2 5HD**
**Salary: £45,320 - £55,515**(dependant on qualifications and experience)**
**Closing Date: 12.00pm Friday 20**th** February 2026** **Contract: Permanent**
**Reports to: Chief Executive Officer**

We are committed to supporting individuals with Learning disabilities, Neurodiversity, Complex needs & individuals with Mental Health, to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals. **About the Role** We are seeking a motivated and experienced** Finance Manager**to join our**senior team. This is a key leadership role within the organisation, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. **Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the Finance and Administration team, providing line management, supervision, and support for staff development and performance.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and month-end processes.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain robust financial controls, policies, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics.
- Support system improvements, process optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- ________________________________________________________________________________________ **Skills & Experience**
- ACCA, CIMA, or AAT/ACA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior accounting role.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
