R&D Mechanical Engineer

Your role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled R&D; Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative solutions within our R&D; department.
The ideal candidate has strong technical foundations and market aptitude for problem solving with experience in mechanical design and prototype development.
Main responsibilities
- Development of technical drawing packages for assemblies, in compliance with manufacturing flows and production specifications.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and other stakeholders) for product design, prototyping, and testing.
- Analysis and identification of underlying principles to optimize design processes and reduce development time.
- Assessment of client needs through active listening and critical thinking, translating them into concrete technical solutions.
Main requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in developing drawing packages for assemblies in line with manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD systems, with priority given to Autodesk Inventor.
- Competence in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent active listening, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Specific knowledge of vacuum equipment and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) processes,
including related standards and regulations.
- Experience in automation and robotics.
- Familiarity with other CAD software such as Creo and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of the SAP system and Windchill PLM.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
