Join GOLDBECK SOLAR at an exciting stage of growth in Italy. As Site Manager, you will lead construction activities on large‑scale solar projects, working closely with internal teams, contractors and authorities to ensure successful project delivery. You will have a high level of responsibility, the freedom to make decisions, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the expansion of renewable energy across Italy.
Tasks:
1. Manage daily construction activities and ensure project execution in line with schedules and milestones
2. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics to ensure efficient project delivery
3. Monitor construction progress, costs and timelines and proactively mitigate project risks
4. Ensure compliance with approved designs, permits and technical specifications
5. Coordinate secondary permits and liaise with local and regional authorities throughout the construction phase
6. Lead contractor coordination and support commercial management regarding variations and claims
7. Implement quality management measures, oversee inspections and manage corrective actions
8.
Ensure compliance with Italian HSE regulations and promote a strong safety culture on site
9. Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate site documentation
10. Act as the on‑site representative of GOLDBECK SOLAR and collaborate closely with project teams, clients and authorities
Profile:
1. Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
2. Several years of experience in construction site management, ideally within utility‑scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects in Italy
3. Strong knowledge of Italian construction, permitting and HSE regulations
4. Experience managing contractors and coordinating multiple stakeholders on site
5. Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
6. Fluent Italian and English language skills
7. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently to project sites across Italy
8. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
