Overview
As Data Centre Electrical Design Manager for the South Zone, you will lead the electrical design for mission-critical data centres, from concept through construction closeout.
You'll mentor engineers, shape innovative electrical solutions, and ensure high-quality, scalable outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of IT and facilities, driving engineering excellence and value engineering.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, energy-efficient data centre infrastructure.

Responsabilità
Act as Design Manager for data centre projects, leading electrical design from concept to closeout
Perform hands-on electrical design and own critical design aspects for mission-critical facilities
Lead multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating engineers and SMEs across projects
Manage design deliverables, resources, schedules, and quality
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the DC Design & Engineering team
Develop and enforce electrical design standards,
procedures, and best practices
Review and approve designs, calculations, reports, and specifications; facilitate peer reviews
Serve as client-facing technical lead in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Lead value engineering, optioneering, and technical decision-making
Lead site visits to monitor installation and commissioning; collaborate with PM, commercial, and construction teams
Requisiti fondamentali
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering for mission-critical facilities
Experience with MV and LV power distribution, transformers, UPS, and standby generation
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
Experience with value engineering and integrating new technologies
AutoCAD and Revit knowledge advantageous
Fluent in Spanish and/or Italian and English
Familiarity with edge computing and AI concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
