Overview
In this role you will lead sourcing activities for new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
You will drive commodity strategies for project components, support Make-or-Buy analyses, and oversee prototyping and tooling for NPD projects.
You will ensure timely project milestones and implement cost-saving initiatives, contributing to successful product launches and supplier partnerships.

Responsabilità
Lead R&D; sourcing activities during new product development
Support supplier quality, cost and delivery targets and execute Sourcing actions for each project
Apply commodity sourcing strategy for project components
Perform Make or Buy analysis
Schedule and coordinate prototyping of tools and product samples (Alpha, Beta,



Pilot)
Ensure all project checkpoint milestones close on time
Manage supplier tooling for NPD projects (mould negotiations, possession of Datalogic materials)
Implement technical saving initiatives
Requisiti fondamentali
Bachelor in mechanical/electronics or economics-related fields
Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal
2–3 years in similar roles
SAP knowledge is a plus
Teamwork: collaborate well within cross-functional teams
Customer focus: align with internal customer needs
Interpersonal characteristics: open, communicative, constructive dialogue
Familiarity with electrical components and PCB or custom mechanical parts
Excellent Excel skills
Knowledge of SAP (plus)
