As part of Translated's AI Research team, you will contribute to the DVPS project advancing multimodal foundation models for Earth observation, language, and cardiology.
You will design, implement, and evaluate deep learning architectures on large-scale GPU HPC, collaborate with product and engineering, and guide junior researchers.
Your work will emphasize open science and open-source releases, shaping the next generation of translation-enabled AI products.

Responsabilità
Design and implement deep learning multimodal architectures
Run large-scale experiments on GPU HPC infrastructure
Design experiments, code implementations, and evaluations
Monitor and benchmark state-of-the-art models
Provide guidance to junior researchers (PhD students and interns)
Coordinate with partners on research roadmap
Organize publications and open-sourcing efforts
Adapt project pace to rapid scientific developments
Requisiti fondamentali
PhD or 4 years of industry research experience in deep learning/ml (applied domains welcome)
Experience guiding junior researchers and defining research projects
Excellent PyTorch programming skills
Familiarity with Docker and Unix OS for GPU experiments
Strong interest in experimental research
Proven scientific publications, teaching, and research experience
Excellent English proficiency
Mentoring and leadership of junior researchers
Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Experience coordinating research activities with external partners
