pCloud Engineer (GCP) - Switzerland /ppbFull-Time Consultancy Assignment | Ticino /b /ppThe Opportunity /ppFor an established organisation operating in a secure and highly regulated environment, we are looking for an experienced bCloud Engineer /b to join its Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team in Ticino.
/ppThis is a hands-on engineering role focused on building, automating, securing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure on bGoogle Cloud Platform /b.
You will work directly with bTerraform, Kubernetes/GKE, Python, Bash, and Git /b in a production environment.
/ppThe position requires full-time availability and daily onsite presence in Ticino.
Remote or hybrid arrangements cannot be considered.
/ppbr/ppbYour Responsibilities /b /pulliBuild, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure on GCP.
/liliWrite and manage reusable, production-grade Terraform modules.
/liliDeploy, operate, upgrade, and troubleshoot workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine.
/liliManage GCP services including IAM, VPC networks, and Compute Engine.
/liliDevelop automation and operational tooling using Python and Bash.
/liliBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GCP-native tooling.
/liliWork through Git-based workflows, including branching, code reviews, and merge requests.
/liliImplement cloud security controls, least-privilege access, secrets management, and SSL/TLS configurations.
/liliConfigure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
/liliInvestigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
/liliCollaborate with development, security,



and external engineering teams in an Agile environment.
/li /ulpbr/ppbYour Profile /b /pulliAt least 3b years of hands-on experience /b in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or DevOps.
/liliStrong production experience with bGoogle Cloud Platform /b.
/liliAdvanced practical knowledge of bTerraform /b and Infrastructure as Code.
/liliSolid experience operating bKubernetes /b, preferably GKE, and containerised workloads.
/liliExperience with GCP services such as IAM, VPC networks, and Compute Engine.
/liliStrong scripting capabilities with bPython and Bash /b.
/liliPractical experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD processes.
/liliStrong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, containers, and production systems.
/liliComfortable working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
/liliAvailable for a bfull-time consultancy assignment /b.
/liliAble to work b100% onsite in Ticino /b.
/li /ulpbr/ppbNice to Have /b /pulliExperience with Jenkins and Ansible.
/liliKnowledge of Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or GCP Cloud Logging.
/liliExposure to Microsoft Azure.
/liliGCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
/liliPrevious experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated environment.
/liliProfessional proficiency in Italian.
