Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career? /p h3bDescription /b /h3 pWe are looking for a Data Platform Architect to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of IT and functionally to the Coordination of Architecture, Data Services. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company data infrastructure to support strategic business objectives. The Data Architect translates business requirements into robust technical data solutions, ensuring data is structured, integrated, secure, and accessible to authorized users. You will be responsible to provide leadership in data architecture design, platform management, data governance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your main activities will be: /p ul libDesigns and evolves the data architecture aligned to IT strategy /b /li liDesigns conceptual, logical, and physical data models consistent with business and analytics requirements /li liCreates blueprints and roadmaps for the evolution of data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and data platforms /li liDevelops long‑term data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and enterprise strategic direction /li liDefines standards, principles, and frameworks for enterprise data architecture /li liMaintains and updates data architecture documentation and artifacts /li libTranslates business analytics needs into data solutions /b /li liAnalyzes internal/external data sources and existing systems, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities /li liDefines data storage, organization, accessibility, and performance requirements /li liPromotes scalable data sharing models through reusable data products, federated governance and domain-based ownership. /li libArchitects data platforms, pipelines integrations /b /li liDefines the architecture of data pipelines and end‑to‑end orchestration strategies /li liDesigns integration patterns (batch/real‑time), APIs, and data flows for multi‑source consolidation and creation of reusable data products /li liEstablishes frameworks for data quality, validation, and monitoring of data flows /li libDefines technology infrastructure for data /b /li liDesigns data technology architecture (cloud/on premises/hybrid) and guides technology selection, including cloud platforms, databases DBMS, integration tools, and analytics platforms; evaluates emerging technologies and cloud solutions to meet strategic needs /li liManages data infrastructure lifecycle, performance, and costs by optimizing cloud resource usage for efficiency and supervising migration, upgrade,



and decommissioning of data systems /li libDocuments, communication enables the organization /b /li liProduces and updates guidelines, standards, and data architecture documentation /li /ul h3bAbout you /b /h3 ul liUniversity Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles /li liHands‑on experience designing and building complex data solutions /li liExperience with multiple database technologies (relational, cloud‑based) /li liExperience with data warehouse and data lake architecture /li liExperience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration /li liExperience and great knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends /li liExperience in designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions /li liExperience and knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies /li liExperience in Service Management /li liGeneral IT Topics knowledge /li liEnglish knowledge, German will be considered a plus /li liRelevant certifications from cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure) /li liData Modeling Architecture (expert‑level) /li liCloud Platforms /li liDatabase Technologies /li liProgramming Languages (e.g. Java) /li liBig Data Analytics /li liData Governance Security (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) /li liBI Reporting (e.g. MicroStrategy, MS Power BI, SAP BO/BW) /li liTeam player, able to work in a cross domain and cross functional environment /li liRelational skills /li liPunctual, reliable and strong communication skills /li liAttention to detail, prioritization skills, and time management /li liInitiative and Proactivity /li liNegotiation skills /li liStructured, analytical approach and problem‑solving mindset /li /ul h3bWhat we offer /b /h3 ul liApplicable national collective bargaining agreement: CCNL Industria Metalmeccanica /li liAnnual gross salary starting from € 46.400.
