/ph3Role Overview /h3pMDOTM, a leading provider of AI-driven investment solutions, is looking for an Intermediate DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Team.
You will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure and tools that empower our product teams — contributing to a reliable, scalable, and efficient developer platform that enables fast and secure software delivery for Sphere, our proprietary AI-driven investment platform.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliContribute to the design, implementation, and automation of bCI/CD pipelines /b (GitLab CI/CD) to ensure fast, safe, and repeatable releases across all environments.
/liliAssist in the adoption and bmanagement of Infrastructure /b as Code using Terraform and Ansible, helping provision and manage on-premise and AWS resources in a controlled, auditable, and reproducible manner.
/liliWork with bDocker /b and bKubernetes /b to package and operate services, contributing to declarative configuration, GitOps practices, and efficient resource utilization.
/liliHelp implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix),
and participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability and low Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR).
/liliContribute to embedding security best practices (OWASP Top 10, least privilege IAM, shift-left testing) into the SDLC and help automate security controls within pipelines.
/liliSupport the management and automation of database infrastructure (MySQL, MongoDB), including provisioning, backups, and automated schema migrations.
/liliAutomate and support the deployment, scaling, and operational health of core platform services (authentication, data pipelines, messaging) for internal consumers.
/liliParticipate in technical design discussions, learn from architectural decisions related to infrastructure and operations, and help document runbooks and standards.
/liliChampion DevOps culture ("you build it, you run it") and share knowledge through demos, pair programming, and internal workshops.
/li /ulh3Skills Required /h3ulliProven experience in a bDevOps or Site Reliability Engineering /b (SRE) role, with a focus on automation, infrastructure, and CI/CD /lilibHands-on experience /b working with and contributing to CI/CD pipelines /liliPractical experience with Docker and exposure to Kubernetes,
including writing Dockerfiles and debugging containerized applications /liliFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible /liliExperience with at least one monitoring, logging, or alerting system (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Zabbix), and curiosity for SRE principles /liliProficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating common tasks /liliBasic understanding of security best practices in the SDLC /liliGood analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting system and infrastructure issues /liliClear English communication, collaborative spirit, and a growth mindset aligned with a culture of shared ownership and rapid feedback /liliExperience with bevent-driven systems /b (e.g., ActiveMQ) /liliContributions to open-source projects /liliFamiliarity with backend development concepts (e.g., Java/Spring Boot) /liliWorking knowledge of AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3, IAM) /liliFinancial-services or high-throughput data processing background /li /ulh3Why Join Us?
