you’ll lead commissioning activities from planning through to project completion. /p h3Your responsibilities will include: /h3 ul liPlanning and delivering electrical commissioning activities across hyperscale data centre projects /li liTesting and commissioning UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers and LV electrical distribution systems /li liDeveloping commissioning procedures, programmes and method statements /li liCarrying out functional testing, integrated systems testing and load bank testing /li liSupporting energisation and critical system start-up activities /li liLeading commissioning packages on allocated projects /li liProducing commissioning reports, handover documentation and project close-out records /li liCoordinating with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams /li liInvestigating and resolving commissioning issues during project delivery /li liSupporting design teams by identifying improvements and lessons learned /li liEnsuring all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and project requirements /li liMentoring junior commissioning engineers and supporting their development /li /ul h3About You /h3 pYou’re a technically capable commissioning engineer who enjoys working in fast-paced mission critical environments. You take pride in delivering reliable,
high-quality work and have the confidence to lead commissioning activities on complex electrical systems. /p h3Essential Experience /h3 ul liDegree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering /li li5+ years' experience in electrical commissioning /li liStrong understanding of electrical distribution systems /li liExperience commissioning UPS systems, generators, switchgear and transformers /li liPrevious experience delivering data centre, pharmaceutical or other mission critical projects /li liExcellent knowledge of electrical testing procedures and commissioning methodology /li liStrong understanding of electrical safety regulations and industry best practice /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills /li liAbility to manage multiple commissioning activities simultaneously /li liFluent English /li /ul h3Desirable /h3 ul liPrevious hyperscale data centre experience /li liKnowledge of Uptime Institute Tier Standards /li liFamiliarity with IEC and IEEE electrical standards /li liHigh Voltage commissioning experience /li liPrevious experience leading commissioning teams /li liAbility to mentor junior engineers /li liItalian language skills (beneficial but not essential) /li /ul h3Why Apply? /h3 pThis is an opportunity to join a highly respected international engineering contractor delivering some of Europe's largest and most exciting mission critical developments.
