AIC works at the intersection of deep AI engineering and high-stakes client environments in aviation, land transport, public safety, telecommunications, and government. /li liAIC is not an internal support function. It is where NCS’s most differentiated AI capabilities are built, validated, and scaled — and where solutions developed in Singapore are prepared for regional deployment across Asia Pacific. /li /ul pAs a bSenior / AI Native Builder /b in bAI Central /b, you will help build, productise, and deploy AI-powered products, MVPs, reusable assets, and new ventures for regulated and mission-critical sectors. You will work in live client contexts, turning ambiguous business challenges into working solutions that can be tested, adopted, and scaled across Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region. /p pAI Central is NCS’s enterprise AI capability spine, responsible for building differentiated AI platforms and reusable assets across sectors such as aviation, land transport, public safety, telecommunications, and government. /p h3THE ROLE /h3 ul liBuild what matters, fast. /li liJoin a startup-style team embedded within one of Singapore’s leading technology services firms, working directly with the Chief AI Officer and senior leaders to turn client opportunities into AI-powered products, MVPs, and new ventures. /li liThis is a high-autonomy role for experienced builders who thrive in ambiguity and know how to move from problem framing to working solution. You will use AI as a force multiplier across research, design, engineering, and delivery, while staying accountable for real client outcomes. /li liWe are looking for engineers who can demonstrate that they have designed and deployed consequential AI systems, exercised independent business acumen, critical thinking, and technical judgement under real constraints, and built things that others build on. The right candidate may be early in their career by conventional measures but advanced by the metrics that matter to us.
/li liYou will not be working in a sandbox or building theoretical demos. You will be working in live client contexts, shaping solutions that can be tested, adopted, and scaled. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU WILL OWN /h3 ul liThe AI delivery methodology for your assigned sector vertical /li liThe reusable asset library emerging from your client engagements — ensuring that solutions built for Singapore lighthouse accounts are documented, abstracted, and ready for regional adaptation /li liThe technical onboarding and capability development of engineers who join your team /li /ul h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liLead the journey from client problem statement to working prototype, MVP, or deployable solution /li liTranslate ambiguous business challenges into clear product hypotheses, technical approaches, and execution plans /li liBuild and ship AI-enabled solutions using the right combination of software engineering, model orchestration, automation, and design tools /li liMake sound trade-offs across speed, quality, security, scalability, and business value /li liAdvise client technology and business leaders on AI investment priorities, architecture decisions, and build-versus-buy choices — drawing on NCS’s cross-sector experience and AIC’s capability base /li liDrive fast experiments and iterative delivery cycles to validate desirability, feasibility, and value /li liContribute reusable patterns, playbooks, and working practices that help NCS scale AI-native delivery across sectors and geographies /li liStay current with emerging AI tools, methods, and frameworks, and apply them where they create measurable advantage /li liYou are energised by ambiguity and know how to create clarity through action /li liYou are comfortable defining the scope, shaping the approach, and driving execution with limited hand-holding /li liYou combine product instinct, engineering depth, and strong judgement /li liYou work well with senior stakeholders and can challenge assumptions constructively /li liYou use AI fluently in your day-to-day workflow as a practical multiplier across design, code, research, and delivery /li liYou care about shipping real solutions that solve meaningful client problems /li liYou move quickly, but you also know where quality, trust,
and maintainability matter most /li /ul h3The ideal candidate should possess: /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
