Overview
In this role you will lead Arup Italia’s integrated energy design and advisory services, guiding the growth of our energy offering in Italy. You’ll work with clients across grid operators, data centres, utilities, renewables and storage to deliver technically sound, end-to-end power solutions. You will coordinate cross-border teams to deliver HV projects, grid studies and interconnections, helping shape a decarbonised energy system. This is a place to influence major energy projects with a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Responsabilità
- Develop and win work for integrated energy systems in Italy and serve as the main delivery contact for Italy
- Lead bid management by understanding client needs and proposing creative, technically sound solutions
- Provide technical leadership and project management for projects spanning grid studies, interconnection design, and integration of generation, transmission, distribution, storage and consumption




- Contribute to HV power projects within the Data Centre business
- Grow HV, renewables, and storage design capabilities in Italy through recruitment and upskilling
- Act as Arup ambassador in energy transition, attending industry events to maintain market-leading knowledge
- Engage with clients and industry to build relationships and business opportunities

Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline
- +10 years of relevant experience with high voltage electrical systems, substations, renewables and BESS design, energy systems integration, and energy infrastructure in Italy
- Technical expertise in HV, renewables and storage design with delivery ownership
- Experience developing the Energy business in Italy and winning projects
- Proven project management and technical leadership on grid connection projects
- Strong knowledge of Italian HV tra
