We are hiring a Truss Designer with a regional leader in manufacturing high-quality trusses for agricultural, residential, and commercial buildings. This role is a hands-on design role with no direct management responsibilities, working closely with sales and production to deliver code compliant, manufacturable solutions. If you have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Produce roof and floor truss layouts and designs using truss design software (Eagle Trubuild or comparable)
- Read and interpret architectural/structural plans and specifications
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, engineering requirements and standards
- Review and revise designs
- Assist with material lists, design documentation and job file organization
- 2+ years of truss and structural component design experience
- Proficiency with truss design software
- Ability to read architectural/structural drawings
- Effective communication
- Must work on site
- Pay $60,000 - $90,000 per year
