On behalf of an American multinational
specialised in the design, supply and distribution of components and custom
solutions for medical devices, we are recruiting a Business Development
Manager for the Ireland & UK territory.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager EU and
working closely with the VP of Sales (USA), you will lead commercial
development and customer partnerships across the UK and Ireland. This is a
high-visibility, relationship-driven role that combines strategic account
management with genuine new business development, counting on a catalogue of
thousands of stock components and several product categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute the annual territory sales plan,
setting ambitious yet realistic targets in alignment with the wider European
strategy.
- Develop and deepen relationships with existing OEM
customers while identifying and converting new accounts within the medical
device and adjacent regulated sectors.
- Act as a trusted advisor: understand customer
programmes in depth and propose tailored, technically credible solutions.
- Monitor commercial performance — order volumes,
margins and pipeline — and ensure timely, accurate reporting to headquarters.
- Serve as the bridge between the customer and internal
teams (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Customer Service),
ensuring seamless delivery on complex projects.
- Represent the company at industry events, across
Europe - and occasionally the US.
