Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics in order to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board and system design. **Position Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Application Engineer to lead pre-sales and growth campaigns for Tessent Silicon Lifecycle Solutions at Siemens' strategic and potential customers. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with key accounts, supporting them in adopting and deploying our Tessent product lines. You'll work closely with account managers to drive sales across all products, presenting deep technical aspects to senior technical managers and engineers at customer sites. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to business growth while increasing customer satisfaction and productivity both on-site and remotely.
**Key Responsibilities** * Work closely with account managers to drive the sales of all products and support customer evaluations * Present, explain, and discuss deep technical aspects of Tessent products with senior technical managers and engineers at customer organizations * Deliver compelling technical presentations on product features and flows tailored to customer needs * Support customer adoption of advanced features and provide design methodology guidance * Lead pre-sales activities and growth campaigns for Tessent Silicon Lifecycle Solutions * Communicate customers' technical requirements and feedback to product marketing teams * Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues, taking ownership of solutions **Qualifications** **Required:** * Wide technical experience with large IC digital designs * Proven track record of working with leading IC customers * Sound knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Design for Test (DFT) methodologies * Minimum University degree at B.Sc. level or equivalent * Very good people and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior technical audiences * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Flexibility to travel within the country and internationally as needed **Preferred:** * Experience with Siemens EDA tools or competing EDA platforms * Background in semiconductor design or test engineering * Experience in customer-facing technical roles **Why Us** At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. The applicable salary ranges for these locations are: £114,400 – £228,800 €123,700 – €247,400 €123,300 – €246,600 ₪560,500 – ₪1,233,200 This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation.
