In Milan, lead the AML Italy team of 10 specialists, coordinating daily operations and collaborating with the Head of AML to strengthen performance and team development. You'll balance operational excellence with continuous improvement while engaging with cross-functional stakeholders. The role offers direct regulatory exposure and the chance to shape how the team works, including automation initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-growing fintech with a strong customer-focus and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsabilità

- Oversee daily run including task assignment and alert monitoring
- Analyze control results to identify root causes and coordinate remediation across first and second line
- Review and improve transaction monitoring scenarios and processes




- Support and develop team members across junior and senior levels
- Coordinate regular stakeholder catch-ups with AFC, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Onboarding, CS, and BPO managers near Milan

Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven AML expertise in Italy (min 4 years), preferably in first line of defense and transaction monitoring
- Prior management experience with a team of at least 3 agents
- Tech-first mindset with comfort in automation, data, xkiyazw and AI tools
- Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritize under regulatory scrutiny
- Supportive leadership style focused on trust and stabilizing the team
- Fluent Italian and English (Italian native, English daily)
