So, you could be the right person for this role regardless of your age, nationality, religious beliefs, or gender identification. /p h3Your role in our shared journey /h3 pLocated in one of our South offices (Barcelona, Cuneo o Montpelier), we are seeking a Credit Control Team Lead to join our Finance department. /p h3Your Key Responsibilities Will Be /h3 ul liEnsure the execution of credit risk- and cash collection procedures in line with the ASICS EMEA Credit Policy. /li liTogether with the Credit Control Manager EMEA and Team Lead Credit Control North, ensure that the EMEA Credit Policy is regularly updated and that processes are governed through this Policy. /li liTogether with the Team Lead Credit Control NORTH, responsible for weekly Credit Management reporting. /li liIdentify and implement process improvements to ensure an effective and efficient way of working. /li liWork closely with other key departments (Commercial team, Operations and Logistics), and support and manage stakeholders. /li /ul h3Team leadership /h3 ul liTogether with the Credit Control Manager EMEA, set objectives for the team in line with company objectives. Measure performance objectively and frequently. /li liSafeguard priority setting in the team to ensure issues are solved timely and structurally together with other stakeholders. /li liEngage team members; coach and motivate employees to grow and to continuously improve processes to work more efficiently and effectively. /li /ul h3Compliance and controls /h3 ul liWork with the Manager Credit Control EMEA and Team Lead Credit Control NORTH to strengthen internal controls to prevent material misstatements. /li liEnsure J-SOX internal controls are correctly and accurately executed in time. /li liSupport the Manager Credit Control EMEA with maintenance of the EMEA Credit Policy and ensure that the team performs their day-to-day tasks in line with the EMEA Credit Policy.
/li /ul h3Credit (Risk) Management /h3 ul liSupport the team in the assessment of the creditworthiness of new and existing customers. /li liReview requested credit limits by the team and participate in the approval process in SAP S/4HANA. /li liWork with the team to keep track of blocked orders and share proposals with management for the approval of releases. /li liAnalyze (Seasonal) credit exposure versus credit limits in place, signal challenges, and work with the Commercial team and customers to solve issues. /li /ul h3Collections Management /h3 ul liLead and support the team in the dunning and collection processes. /li liWork with the Credit Control Manager EMEA to ensure compliance of customers with agreed payment terms. /li liPropose payment plans for relevant customers and obtain approval in line with the limits of authority. /li liSet and monitor collection KPI’s and targets together with the Credit Control Manager EMEA. /li liResponsible for the calculation of the bad debt provision for the SOUTH region. /li liWork with the credit collection agency and ASICS Legal department. /li liPoint of escalation for the team in case of internal and external disputes. /li /ul h3Reporting /h3 ul liTogether with the Team Lead Credit Control NORTH, responsible for weekly Credit Management reporting and follow-up with the business. /li liContribute to improving SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and Qlik reporting in Accounts Receivable and Credit exposure. /li liSupports the team in the SOE calls. /li /ul h3Process improvements and projects /h3 ul liContribute to automation and efficiency improvements. /li liIdentify gaps in processes and lead and support projects for improvement across departments. /li liWrite and maintain process descriptions and process flows. /li /ul h3Stakeholder management /h3 ul liAct as a business partner and build a strong professional business relationship with other departments (Commercial Team, Logistics, Operations, AP team, Tax, Treasury, Financial Control, etc). /li liRecognize and elevate issues internally and externally on time. /li /ul h3You Have The Following Experience And Skills /h3 h3Minimum knowledge experience: /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration.
/li liAt least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position. /li liAt least 2 years of experience in managing a team, preferably also experience with remote people management. /li liRelevant work experience in an international credit collection environment. /li liCollection experience with bigger retail chains is a plus. /li liSAP or SAP S/4HANA experience is highly preferred. /li liAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. /li liSAP BI (Analysis for Office) and/or SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) are preferred. /li liExperience in working with a third-party collection tool is preferred. /li /ul h3Competences (skills Abilities) /h3 ul liFluent in English (both written and spoken).
