For our Group Compliance Department, within the ESG Division, we are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our Corporate team.
The selected candidate will support the development and implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy, contribute to the definition and monitoring of ESG objectives and KPIs, and assist in sustainability reporting and stakeholder engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the definition and implementation of the Group sustainability strategy by contributing to ESG projects and initiatives.
- Assist in defining sustainability KPIs and targets (Environmental, Social & Governance) and monitor their progress.
- Collaborate with key business functions, including Operations, Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, and other departments, to integrate sustainable practices into business processes.
- Manage data collection and coordinate the completion and submission of sustainability ratings, ESG assessments, and questionnaires requested by customers, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support internal and external ESG audits.
- Prepare and coordinate sustainability reporting activities, including Sustainability Reports, Double Materiality Assessments, CSRD/ESRS disclosures, and GRI reporting frameworks.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor developments in sustainability legislation and support the implementation of regulatory requirements across the Group.
- Operate in compliance with the requirements of the Company's Integrated Management System.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Economics,
Business Administration, Management Engineering, or related fields.
- Previous experience, even limited (approximately 1 year), in sustainability-related roles within manufacturing companies or consulting firms.
- Basic knowledge of CSRD/ESRS standards and major ESG reporting frameworks.
- Understanding of Carbon Footprint methodologies, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data management, with advanced Excel knowledge; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional projects effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact successfully with both internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or specialized training in ESG, Sustainability, or related disciplines.
- Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, or equivalent standards.
- Knowledge of a second foreign language, particularly Spanish or German.
