Overview
In this role, you will develop and deploy a standardized external supplier capacity development approach across ELDS MV Switchgear factories, ensuring proactive risk assessment and capacity ramp-up. You will lead cross-factory coordination with quality, procurement, operations, and supply chain teams to implement methodology, drive supplier development roadmaps, and monitor progress. You will enable consistent execution, share best practices, and elevate external supplier readiness to meet growing component needs. This role blends strategic design, global collaboration, and hands-on deployment to strengthen supply continuity and performance.
Responsabilità
- Develop and standardize the external supplier capacity development approach across ELDS MV Switchgear factories.
- Lead identification and prioritization of critical suppliers using multi-criteria risk profiles and alternative sourcing potential.
- Create and maintain tailored supplier assessment and development methodologies and tools.
- Coordinate end-to-end rollout across factories to ensure consistent methodology and knowledge sharing.
- Support factory teams in implementing roadmaps and readiness assessments for supplier performance.
- Lead cross-factory coordination and engage global suppliers as needed.
- Develop and implement KPIs to track supplier development progress and readiness for ramp-up.
- Maintain regular communication with relevant organizations/functions to ensure alignment.
- Identify and address critical supplier capacity risks affecting supply continuity.
- Develop training materials and guidance for factory teams and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of the capacity evaluation methodology based on lessons learned.
- Demonstrate ABB values, compliance with codes of conduct, and adherence to HSE standards.
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years in supply chain management with understanding of supplier dynamics, sourcing strategies, and capacity risk assessment.
- Experience in complex multinational environments, leading multi-country projects, preferably in energy sector.
- Proven data analysis and reporting skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Track record in process development, design, and rollout of methodologies across sites.
- Project management and cross-functional coordination experience in matrix organizations.
- Experience in quality and compliance management, including audits and supplier assessments.
- Operations and capacity planning background with manufacturing exposure.
- Strong stakeholder management across geographies and functions; excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fast learner with a results-oriented mindset in a dynamic environment.
