Within the Business Development & Product unit, the Sales Italy team is responsible for developing commercial activity across the Italian market, with a dedicated focus on institutional investors such as insurance companies, pension funds, asset management firms and private banks, as well as wholesale and retail distribution channels.

The team promotes investment services and the Company’s proprietary products alongside selected third‑party solutions, while actively participating in official tenders to secure individual portfolio management mandates and to expand assets under management for both the Company’s funds and those managed by Group asset managers with established distribution agreements. To ensure effective market coverage and operational efficiency, the structure includes resources specifically dedicated to key client segments, namely Financial Intermediaries, Institutional Clients and Group Networks Italy.

Reporting to the Head Financial Intermediaries and positioned within the Sales Italy team, the person will engage with Retail Distributors both Captive (insurance UL networks) and non-Captive in order to develop the commercial business plan.

The role will be expected to:

- Develop and enhance relationship with assigned Clients through regular contacts and visits
- Organize and lead training session for Retail Distributors. Deliver products’ and company’s presentations in front of different types of audiences. Organize events with the Networks
- Develop business on assigned Clients and Prospects with a Partnership / cross-business approach (solutions, mandates, distribution, wholesales, etc)
- Cross-segments collaboration with other sales in order to organically develop BU penetration among complex clients and organizations, both captive and external
- Grow the assets under management in line with the business plan
- Closely collaborate with Marketing and Client Service in order to deliver the best service level to Clients
- Collaborate to continuously innovate the Service Model to reach the highest Clients’ satisfaction, being aware of business priorities and of all related operational impacts.

Requirements

- 5-7 years of experience in similar roles
- Fluent in English
- Flexibility and strong commercial acumen
- Deep knowledge of the financial markets and products
- Good understanding of the segments under coverage, of the business and industry dynamics and of the regulatory environment




- Experience and understanding of all related operational impacts that are required to deliver products and services and the expected client experience
- Work experience in a similar international asset management environment and capable to interact with a multinational team while leveraging on a decentralized support functions organization
- Able to influence and establish a positive dynamic approach within the Sales Italy team and obtain the requested cooperation
- Able to work under pressure and to act and make decision by operating with autonomy and by an entrepreneurial, disciplined and organized approach
- Able to influence others and build an efficient inner network in order to access all needed information and obtain support from the whole organization
- Capable of producing and showing effective presentations to gain professional trust, obtaining appreciation, consensus and buying behaviors from audience and Clients
- Analytical skills will be appreciated, as well as capability to take decisions in an uncertain environment
- Negotiation skills will be required to cope with Clients’ requests and expectations.

What we offer The role is offered within the "Quadro direttivo" category, under the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Banking Sector (CCNL Credito) and the applicable Company Collective Agreement (Contratto Integrativo Aziendale).

The starting gross annual salary is €60.000. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s professional experience and the technical and interpersonal competences required for the position and may include an individual variable compensation component.
