The position can be performed mainly remotely, with periodic visits to Milan. /ppstrongReporting line /strong: Country Manager /ppstrongObjective /strong /ppThe Development Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall development strategy for utility-scale BESS solar projects nationwide. The role involves overseeing and accelerating the development of renewable energy projects, managing internal and external stakeholders, and achieving project objectives within established timelines and budgets. /ppThe position requires leadership skills in team management, strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance. The Development Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure alignment of the country's development strategy with corporate objectives. /ppstrongMain Responsibilities /strong /ppstrongStrategic Leadership and Development /strong /pulliCollaborate closely with senior management to define and implement the development strategy for utility-scale projects. /liliDefine and manage the development roadmap, identifying new business opportunities in line with corporate goals. /liliGuide and develop the country’s development strategy, ensuring alignment with the Group's vision and objectives. /li /ulpstrongBudget and Financial Supervision /strong /pulliDefine development budgets and closely monitor project costs. /liliImplement budget control processes to ensure the financial efficiency of projects. /liliParticipate in the preparation of monthly management reporting and provide financial performance analyses.
/li /ulpstrongStakeholder Management and Representation /strong /pulliRepresent the company in relations with key stakeholders, including local authorities, landowners, financial partners, and regulatory bodies. /liliLead negotiations and coordinate contracts regarding land acquisition and securing, feasibility studies, environmental studies, building permits, and participation in tenders and bids. /liliEnsure effective and collaborative relationships with municipal administrations, associations, and local communities for current and future projects. /li /ulpstrongProject Development and Permitting /strong /pulliOversee feasibility studies and manage the permitting process for new projects. /liliManage development project timelines, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and expected timelines for reaching Ready to Build (RTB) status. /liliEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding land use and project permitting. /li /ulpstrongCompetitive Advantage and Market Analysis /strong /pulliStay up to date on market developments, competitor activities, and technological innovations, with a specific focus on areas such as agrivoltaics. /liliPerform competitive and regulatory intelligence to support the definition of project strategies and identify potential growth opportunities. /liliPromote innovation in project development to strengthen the company’s competitive advantage in the renewable energy market.
