ppWithin the Chief Compliance Officer function we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team as bData Protection Expert /b. /p /brpThe ideal candidate will support the team working on the following activities: /p /brul /brliReport to the Head of Data Protection (who in turn reports to the Chief Compliance Officer) /li /brliProvide advisory support to the business in connection with data protection matters, including opinions on Data Protection Impact Assessments, for all asset management and non-regulated companies falling under the relevant perimeter /li /brliTimely perform DPO monitoring and control activities for all asset management and non-regulated companies falling under the relevant perimeter and drafting the respective operational reports /li /brliDraft the DPO Reports for all asset management and non-regulated companies falling under the relevant perimeter for the senior management and Board of Directors /li /brliLiaise with the Data Protection Officers abroad in relation to data protection related matters regarding any of the asset management foreign entities /li /brliSupport global/local projects and initiatives identifying and providing solution for data protection related matters /li /brliProvide support in preparing training initiatives on personal data protection topics /li /br /ul /brh3Requirements /h3 /brpOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: /p /brul /brliUniversity level degree or comparable, preferably in law, political sciences or economics /li /brliExcellent knowledge of English (C1 level) /li /brliSuccessful track record of at least 4 years in prior legal or internal control functions with a specific focus on data protection matters, especially in complex environments,



with a view of being able to discharge the assigned tasks with a high level of autonomy /li /brliAdequate knowledge of the relevant European and Italian legal framework /li /brliAdequate knowledge of internal control systems and processes commonly adopted in the asset management industry /li /brliProblem-solving and analytical skillset /li /brliAbility to drive topics and deliver results even under pressure and time constraints /li /brliAvailability to travel in Italy and abroad /li /brliTeam player /li /br /ul /brh3Company Profile /h3 /brpGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
