Join us in Genoa as Sales Planning Italy Analyst, where you will help shape commercial performance by transforming market trends, sales data and business opportunities into actionable insights.
As part of the Sales Planning team, you will work closely with key commercial stakeholders, contributing to monitoring business performance, supporting forecasting and planning activities, and identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and commercial effectiveness.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset who wants to develop a solid understanding of commercial dynamics and grow within Sales Planning.

You will contribute to the performance and evolution of Costa’s Italian market by supporting analysis, planning and reporting activities that enable fact-based commercial decisions.
Sales Performance & Business Insights
Monitor sales performance against targets, forecasts, and prior-year results, identifying trends, gaps, and growth opportunities. Analyze booking, channel, and product performance to uncover key commercial drivers, deliver actionable insights through ad hoc analyses,
and evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of promotions and commercial initiatives.
Sales Planning & Forecasting Excellence
Support budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting processes to ensure accurate sales planning, while monitoring business performance against forecasts and targets, identifying deviations, and contributing to timely corrective actions.
Reporting & Data Analysis
Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance analyses, leveraging multiple data sources and large datasets to ensure reliable business insights, while driving the continuous improvement and automation of reporting and analytical tools to enhance data accessibility and decision-making across the Sales organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Decision Support
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, and other key stakeholders, supporting business reviews and management presentations by translating complex data into clear insights and contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What Makes You Unique
- Previous experiences in Sales Planning, Business Analysis, Commercial Controlling or related analytical roles.
- Preferred bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Management Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with numbers and large datasets.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business actions.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI is considered a plus).
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Proactive, curious and results-oriented approach, with a genuine interest in commercial dynamics and business performance.
