Within the Finance BU Automation organizational unit, we are looking for a Financial Project Controller at our Genoa office.

This role will operate within the Finance BU Automation unit with the objective of working in the team dedicated to the economic and financial management of projects and contracts (Project Controlling).

- Management control relating to business activities, with a particular focus on order/project control and related KPIs;
- Monitoring of financial progress vs. contract (revenue recognition, cost to completion) and support for the project (re)planning process (program controlling);
- Monitoring, capacity verification, and approval of purchase requests for projects/orders;




- Tracking and periodic reporting of financial risks, contingency budgeting, stress scenarios (currency exchange, milestone delays, scope variations) and related mitigations;
- Coordination with Legal on exposure aspects arising from disputes, arbitrations, claims and contractual penalties; support for quantifying reserves in equity;
- Monitoring, reporting, and periodic analysis of turnover, receivables/payables, receipts/payments of programs/orders;
- Interface with Treasury on project working capital timing; coordination with the Treasury function on advances and financing, exchange rate coverage, guarantees, bonds, etc.;
- Support for the Business Unit's periodic Budgeting, Forecast, and Reporting processes;
- Periodic analysis of industrial and operational PKIs, definition of improvement plan and related monitoring;
- Support for the tender process;
- User of SAP 4Hana, BI and other planning tools.

Education
Degree in economics/management disciplines or Engineering

Seniority
At least 5 years of experience in the role of Controller/Project Controller, preferably in companies operating on an order/project basis and in international contexts.

Technical skills
Knowledge of relevant IRFS/IAS and US GAAP accounting principles and production management control, international Transfer Pricing issues.

Behavioral skills
Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and teamwork complete the profile.

Language skills




Proficiency in English (at least B2); knowledge of an additional language among French, Spanish or German is a plus.

Computer skills
Excellent knowledge of Excel and major corporate ERPs, preferably SAP. Project control management software.

How does the selection process work?
