As an Application Engineer – Machine Tools, you will be part of the Technical support team contributing to support OEM customers across Italy in designing, optimizing, and commissioning advanced CNC applications.
Your day-to-day activities will include maximizing the value of our Machine Tools portfolio (e.g. CNC systems, drives, and digital solutions) across the full lifecycle - from digital design and simulation to shopfloor commissioning - acting as a trusted technical partner for both customers and the sales organization, and contributing to the growth and competitiveness of our OEM customers.
Providing technical support and developing CNC applications based on customer requirements and machine specifications Delivering technical presentations, demos, and customer trainings on CNC and machine tool solutions Analyzing machining processes and translating customer needs into optimized CNC configurations and architectures Performing parameterization, testing, and commissioning of machine tools Supporting the sales organization in defining technical solutions and contributing to business development with OEMs Troubleshooting complex issues and providing after-sales support to ensure high machine performance and availability Contributing to continuous improvement through feedback, documentation, and knowledge sharing What makes you a great match: Core Requirements Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering At least 5 years' experience in CNC and PLC programming, motion control, and automation systems Passion for CNC, machine tools, and industrial manufacturi
