Within the Space Division, we are looking for a QC Opto-mechanical for our office in Campi Bisenzio (FI).
The person, within the Hardware Quality team, will be responsible for:
- Verifying the conformity of units, sub-assemblies, components, and treatments according to quality requirements and applicable standards
- Intercepting, identifying, and managing non-conforming products and the related controls that enable subsequent integration phases and the implementation of the KIP, according to the work order
- Supporting PAM/QA during KIP/MIP inspection phases
- Inspecting the product against any rework/shipments
- Interfacing with QA if repetitive, borderline, or critical defects are detected
- Verifying the absence of FOD
- Reporting findings through reports and photographs
- Feeding the company software for monitoring findings and generating process KPIs
- Releasing, through company tools, the inspected hardware for the next phase
- Verifying completeness/correctness of the production log
- Opening NCRs for replacement of defective parts and supporting the related NCRB
- In case of outsourcing, performing inspections at suppliers
Education:
- Technical Institute Diploma (mechanical/mechatronic/electronic/IT/electrotechnical) and/or equivalent
Required experience level:
- Junior: 1-3 years of experience in the role.
Technical skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge of technical instrumentation (microscopes, X-ray, AOI, Flying Probe)
- Ability to read mechanical/electronic drawings
- Basic knowledge of production flows and related non-conformity management
- Basic IT knowledge

How does the selection process work?
