Overview As Area Manager, you will lead the product specialists across the Area to drive growth and profitability. You’ll translate corporate strategy into local execution, coaching the team and optimizing Tender and sales plans. You’ll manage performance with clear metrics, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure compliant, efficient operations. This role offers strategic influence, scope across Regions, and a chance to shape area development within a global business.
Responsabilità
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing the sales team
- Design and implement an Area Tender plan
- Design and implement an Area sales/commercial plan aligned with National, EMEA and Corporate strategy
- Set objectives, coach and monitor performance of sales representatives
- Design and implement a Team development plan
- Report progress to Sales Director and propose recovery plans when needed
- Lead a team of Product Specialists towards collaboration and goal attainment
- Ensure cross-cooperation between sales and other functions
- Manage finances to keep Areas profitable and within budget
- Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues
- Perform capability assessments and develop full development plans for the Sales Team (including IDP)
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational guidelines
- Handle problems with practical analyses and action plans
- Requirements for tender preparation, stakeholder influence and operations planning are essential
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support strategy execution
- Travel as needed (75% per time)
- Maintain CRM/ERP knowledge for performance tracking and optimization
Requisiti fondamentali
- +5y experience as Area Manager or similar managerial sales role
- Knowledge of Italian (Regional) Market and Tender dynamics
- Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics
- Understanding of optimization of operations and standards for success
- Working knowledge of CRM/ERP software
