Overview In this role within Panasonic Industry Europe, you will drive Italian market growth by identifying and securing new business. You act as a product expert for passive components and empower distributors and FAEs through technical and commercial support. You will lead design-in activities, deliver trainings, and translate customer needs into solutions. Your work fuels demand creation and market expansion, aligning with Panasonic’s collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
Responsabilità
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new business opportunities and markets in Italy
- Act as product expert for passive components
- Support distributor FAEs and sales teams via joint visits, technical consulting, and local commercial support
- Deliver technical product trainings to distributors and FAE community highlighting trends and USPs
- Coordinate design-in activities at end customers with distributors, ensure project follow-up and conversion
- Understand customer requirements and provide solution-oriented advice
- Maintain long-term relationships with distributors and end customers with clear internal communication
- Monitor competitors and perform market analysis to spot trends and opportunities
- Measure success via demand creation, project generation, and POS growth in the region
Requisiti fondamentali
- Academic degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
- Minimum 2 years in a sales-driven role or engineering with customer interaction
- Strong technical knowledge (passive components preferred) and enthusiasm for technology
- Solid commercial understanding; ability to blend technical depth with business sense
- Solution-oriented, customer-focused, proactive, and accountable work style
- Excellent networking and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel ~40%; valid driving license
