Context of the Position
As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Italian market. This is a critical greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution.
This position is designed for an energetic, operationally grounded transport and outbound logistics professional. The role demands an individual who can build and manage an aggressive daily delivery dispatch schedule specifically tailored for heavy, bulky, and high-value consumer goods.
The Mission & Core Scope
- The Mission: Establish, lead, and optimize the daily outbound transport and final delivery execution for the Large Item DC, ensuring that all bulky goods leave the facility safely, on time, and aligned with target customer delivery windows.
- The Scope: You will take direct operational leadership over the outbound distribution floor and delivery routing desk, managing a team of dispatchers while coordinating seamlessly with both our internal dedicated fleet (1PL) and external carrier networks (3PL).
