Context of the Position
As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Italian market. This is a critical greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution.
This position is designed for an agile, high-energy frontline operational leader who thrives in fast-paced cross-docking environments. The role demands an execution-focused supervisor who can manage teams of sorting operators, maintain fluid throughput across automated systems, and meet strict dispatch windows.
The Mission & Core Scope
- The Mission: Lead, motivate, and direct daily sorting floor shift operations (unload scanning, induction, automated belt monitoring, and cage consolidation) to ensure all packages are sorted by postal code and staged for outbound transport with zero delay.
- The Scope: You will take direct, hands-on floor responsibility for a dedicated sorting line or processing zone, tracking hourly units-per-hour (UPH) throughput, managing sorting deviations, and enforcing compliance.
