Title: Construction Site Supervisor
Location: Multiple locations dependent on project needs
My client is searching for a Construction Site Supervisor to join their Project Management & Construction Department.
The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a construction site, from mobilization to demobilization. The candidate will ensure that site activities are carried out safely, within budget, on schedule, and in full compliance with quality and HSE standards. During the execution and installation phases, the Construction Site Supervisor will oversee areas, subcontractors, and activities.
During the commissioning phase, the Construction Site Supervisor will maintain responsibility over site areas, while the Commissioning Manager assumes operational responsibility for commissioning activities. The candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team composed of supervisors, HSE and quality representatives, logistic site manager and will work in close coordination with the Project Manager and the Commissioning Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for site setup and mobilization, through to demobilization at project close-out.
- Ensure implementation of all HSE procedures in accordance with the project HSE Plan.
- Apply and supervise quality standards based on the Project Quality Plan.
- Organize and coordinate daily activities, allocating responsibilities and resources.
- Maintain and regularly update the project schedule in coordination with the planner.
- Supervise works and contractors during execution and installation phases.
- Ensure proper management of handovers between contractors and project phases, including:
- From civil works to mechanical installation, e.g. handover of concrete foundations to the mechanical contractor for equipment anchoring.
- From mechanical completion to commissioning, e.g. handover of installed systems to the commissioning team for functional testing and energization.
