Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Market Specialist at the Bank of China’s Milan Branch within the Business Development Department. The role involves executing trading activities on the banking book, developing relationships with institutional and corporate clients, and providing strategic market insights. You will work closely with the Head of the Financial Market team and collaborate across internal departments and external counterparties.
Main Responsibilities of the Position
· Execute banking book trades, including money market operations and bond investments;
· Conduct marketing activities and relationship management for Financial Institutions (FI) and corporate counterparties;
· Prepare business reports, statements, and performance analysis;
· Conduct financial market research and prepare periodic analytical reports;
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support business development goals.
Qualifications
· Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline;
· At least 1 year of experience in financial market business within a bank or similar institution (Experienced professionals prioritized);
· Native proficiency in Chinese, proficient in business English and Italian;
· Proficient in using financial terminals such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv;
· Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
· Excellent coordination, communication, and client relationship management skills;
· Preference will be given to CFA charter holders or candidates
