YOUR ROLE
Support an AI research team at STMicroelectronics SRA on embedded machine learning and robotics projects under direct supervision. Typical activities include:
- Working on machine learning model optimization and deployment for resource-constrained edge hardware (STM32 microcontrollers/MPUs)
- Supporting simulation and integration tasks for robotics applications using ROS2 middleware
- Assisting in building automated tools and pipelines for model training, quantization, validation, and deployment workflows
- Preparing benchmark results, technical documentation, and supporting paper/publication preparation
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or similar field (enrolled or recently completed)
- Strong programming skills in Python; working knowledge of C/C++
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and model optimization concepts
- Experience with Linux development environments and Git
- Basic understanding of embedded systems or IoT technologies
- Interest in edge AI, TinyML, robo
