Job Description
The Key Account Manager (KAM) represents AVL in the market, serving as a competent partner for significant business accounts. The role covers AVL's portfolio of engineering solutions and services, including emission calibration, aftertreatment development, powertrain technologies, electrification, testing, and validation solutions. The KAM reports to the Sales Directors and collaborates closely with Business Development and global teams to align strategies and ensure optimal market performance.
Your Responsabilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet market business targets.
- Responsible for sales plans and forecasts for assigned accounts.
- Identify account growth opportunities and diversification into new areas, business fields, products, and services, including opportunities related to emission calibration and aftertreatment solutions.
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
- Orchestrate relationship development and communication.
- Travel to meet customers, their buying centers,
and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare, host, and lead customer meetings, ensuring follow-ups and satisfaction assessments.
- Support all commercial activities until final payment, accompany project work during order fulfillment, and assess customer satisfaction.
- Provide inputs for efficient offer preparation and lean offers.
- Approve and negotiate quotations and contracts according to company policies.
- Monitor and analyze account performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with AVL sales processes.
- Support business development activities related to emission calibration projects, aftertreatment systems, and emissions compliance solutions across assigned accounts.
Profile Description
- Completed university degree with a focus on technical and economic aspects.
- Driver's License.
- Experience in sales or sales management in a business-to-business environment.
