ppEAA – Emre Arolat Architecture is expanding its international presence with the opening of a new studio in Florence, a city where art, craftsmanship, and architectural heritage have long intertwined. Following its studio in Istanbul, the Florence office marks a new chapter in EAA’s ongoing dialogue between local context and global discourse. The new studio aims to engage with the rich architectural and cultural fabric of Italy, fostering collaborations that bridge contemporary practice with deep-rooted traditions of making and thinking about space. /p pWithin this scope, EAA is seeking Junior Architects to join the Florence team, critical thinkers and talented designers who will contribute to the studio’s evolving design culture and its commitment to critical, contextually grounded architecture. /p bJob Description /b ul liGenerating architectural design ideas and schemes, /li liContributing to the development of a project under the guidance of Global Design Director and Team Leaders, /li liFulfilling the duties and responsibilities given by Global Design Director and Team Leaders regarding the project, /li liWorking within a project team with an active contribution through constructively critical ideas, /li liScheduling project related assignments and demands efficiently to remain faithful to deadlines, with regular interaction and direction from Project Leader, /li liParticipation in design improvement meetings within EAA, /li liPreparation of project model, related 2D and 3D drawings, /li liPreparation of graphics, texts and images that include analy s es of land conditions, land physical conditions,
functional requirements, sustainability issues, historical, social and cultural layers of the area, /li liPreparation of presentation files, /li liConducting intellectual research on the context of projects, /li liPreparation of material toolbox. /li /ul bMinimum Qualifications /b ul liHaving a valid working permit in Italy. /li liA relevant professional degree in architecture, /li liStrong design, 2D and 3D modeling skills, /li liHigh level proficiency of Sketchup, Autocad, Adobe Photoshop, /li liExperience in Lumion , Rhino and Adobe Premiere is a plus, /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Italian /li liHaving an artistic talent, professional skill, and enthusiasm for architectural depiction, /li liHaving high level of graphical understanding and being an analytical thinker /li liHigh level of precision at tasks, /li liWorking with minimal supervision, acting well individually and in teams, sharing information and supporting colleagues,Strong time management, good prioritization, team player, /li liEnthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and flexible, /li liHaving no restriction to travel. /li /ul pAt EAA, we welcome and encourage diversity in the workplace.
