The position offers a unique opportunity to shape a strategic technology platform within the globally recognized Fondazione Telethon RD ecosystem. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage the Core, supporting internal research groups and translational programs. /ppstrongemThe position is based at SR-TIGET (Milan) and requires regular travel between the two sites.
/em /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliEstablish and lead the Lipid Nanoparticle Core, ensuring alignment with the strategic priorities of the two Institutes /liliDefine and implement the operational strategy, including workflows, SOPs, quality standards and resource allocation, while ensuring harmonized processes across both Institutes /liliRecruit, mentor, and supervise dedicated Core staff /liliServe as the primary interface with internal units (including research groups and development functions), and external stakeholders (including academic partners, industry collaborators, and technology providers) /liliDrive innovation in the LNP space and related enabling technologies. /liliContribute to grant writing and external funding applications. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongQualifications /strong /pulliPhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline (e.G., Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science). /lili5+ years of post‑PhD experience in relevant scientific fields /liliDocumented track record in LNP design, production, and characterization; br / experience with LNP functionalization and/or CMC is considered a plus. /liliDocumented experience with emin vivo /em applications of LNPs /liliFamiliarity with quality-driven workflows; br / experience in industry,biotech,
