Your Role:

As a Food R&D; Intern, you will be part of our Food R&D; team and will lead, supported by our Raw Material Specialist, a scientific project aiming to improve internal knowledge about our key ingredients and their functionalities.

Project proposal: Characterization of the functional properties of a specific ingredient type in systematic model matrices, followed by evaluation in complex application matrices

- Phase I – knowledge: Literature review, scientific state of the art on the topic
- Phase II – Systematic characterization: Analytical evaluations of micro & macro functionalities
- Phase III – Application study: Testing observations in complex matrices (food products)

Who You Are:

We're looking for a passionate,



rigorous and practical student with a genuine interest in food science and product development.

- Deep understanding of ingredient functionality and food processing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- English proficiency (B2 level minimum)
- Residence within one hour of Milan or willingness to relocate
- Availability to be primarily on-site at our Innovation Lab

Preferred Qualifications

- Ongoing Master’s Degree in Food Science & Technology, Gastronomic Sciences or related disciplines
- Previous experience in food ingredient companies or food manufacturing environments is a plus
