The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Department and onboard personnel to ensure compliance with international and company standards.Key responsabilities:Monitor and ensure compliance with international maritime safety regulations (ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL).
Coordinate safety activities on board, supporting Masters and crew members.Conduct internal audit, inspections, and follow-up on corrective actions.Collaborate with technical and operational departments to promote a strong safety culture.Manage reporting and emergency plans, ensuring high operational standards.Deliver training and awareness sessions for the crew on safety and prevention.Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities,
developing recommendations for continuous improvement.Support the preparation and management of inspections carried out by maritime authorities and classification societies.Contribute to the development and updating of onboard procedures and safety manuals.
