MAN. brFor our multinational client company specialized in thebrproduction of electromechanical components and systems, we are looking for a Engineering Director.POSITION SUMMARY: The Engineering Director leads the Engineering function,brensuring effective technical strategy, product development, engineeringbrgovernance, resource and budget management, compliance, and continuousbrimprovement.
The role owns the Engineering processes and monitors theirbrconsistent application across the organization, including Engineering Servicesbrand Technical Support activities performed within the Business Segments, whichbrreport functionally to the Engineering Director for engineering standards,brprocesses, and technical governance.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:Definebrand execute the Engineering strategy in alignment with businessbrobjectives.Leadbrthe Engineering function and directly manage Engineering and RDbrteams, ensuring the required skills, capabilities, and priorities.Define,brmaintain, and improve Engineering and Product Lifecycle processes,brstandards, tools, and best practices.Monitorbrthe application of Engineering processes across the organization,brincluding Technical Support activities through functional reporting lines.Managebrthe Engineering budget, resources, capacity planning, KPIs, risks, andbrproject execution priorities.Leadbrproduct development, innovation roadmaps, validation, certification,brindustrialization, and lifecycle management.Ensurebrcompliance with applicable standards, regulations, environmental, safety,brand sustainability requirements.Providebrfunctional governance over Engineering Services activities, includingbrreliability analysis, FMEA methodologies, RAMS/EN***** certification,brproduct safety, homologation,
and liaison with certification authorities.Providebrfunctional governance over Product/Business Segment Technical Supportbractivities, including technical support to sales and customers,brdocumentation alignment, drawing reviews, FAI participation, and technicalbrcoaching.Overseebrproduct certification and technical compliance documentation, acting asbrauthorized signatory where required.DrivebrIntellectual Property strategy, patent portfolio management, continuousbrimprovement, and audit follow-up actions.Representbrthe company in relevant technical and standardization committees.QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE: Bachelor'sbror Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.Strongbrknowledge of electronic and electromechanical components and systems for industrialbrapplications.Extensivebrleadership experience in Engineering, RD, Product Development, orbrsimilar technical functions, including functional governance ofbrEngineering Services and Technical Support activities.Strongbrknowledge of engineering governance, product development, reliability,brcertification, lifecycle management, budgeting, capacity planning, andbrtechnical support processes.Experiencebrwith product safety, homologation, compliance documentation, andbrinternational standards in industrial or transportation sectors.Experiencebrcoordinating an international engineering network, including Engineeringbrstaff in other locations, especially Best Cost Country EngineeringbrCenters.Fluentbrwritten and spoken English.Experiencebrworking with different cultures.Opennessbrto international travel.KEY COMPETENCIES:StrategicbrleadershipEngineeringbrgovernanceStakeholderbrmanagementFunctionalbrcoordinationInnovationBudgetbrownershipCompliancePeoplebrdevelopmentContinuousbrimprovementProvenbreffectiveness in leading and collaborating across multicultural andbrinternational organizationsThe compensationbrpackage consists of: a gross annual salary of 90,000 + 15,000 MBO + a companybrcar for mixed use.
