/p h3About the Position /h3 pWe are looking for a Process Launch Management Engineer to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Electronics Process Launch Management Manager.
/p pThis position is based at our office in Corbetta (Milano, IT).
/p pAs the Process Launch Management Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible to coordinate and validate offers and new product launch activities, securing simultaneous engineering and manufacturing standards application, capex optimization and re-use, removing roadblocks and assuring a silent launch trough continuous monitoring of the project status, achieving target for the cost, quality and time to market.
/p h3Your Responsibilities will be /h3 ul liBe the first reference of the Division in terms of Process Launch Management for any Manufacturing related task activation.
/li liBe the reference between Plant Process Launch Management and Product Development team securing offer activation and delivery, simultaneous engineering and standards application.
/li liFirst manufacturing reference for RFI (Request For Information)/RFQ (Request for Quotation) kick off with scope to confirm production site and local plant PLM nomination, becoming also direct coordinator for multi plant offers and industrialization.
/li liValidate final plant industrial offers in reference to RFI/RFQ, securing new capex avoidance, equipment re-use and best manufacturing standard solutions.
/li liMonitoring and first reporting of manufacturing needs/risks (capex, areas, saturations, etc) based on new opportunities, securing further study deployment onsite and with central ELS AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering).
/li liMonitoring and reporting of process milestones,
process readiness and baseline process KPIs progress.
/li liMonitoring and reporting of critical upcoming situations to secure product and process development roadblock avoidance.First step of escalation support to secure blocking point resolution.
/li liMonitoring and reporting of plant PLM training gaps, resources need, structure gaps in reference to the current manufacturing organization.
/li liGuarantee online and/or onsite support for any relevant blocking points or event at risk, securing the right escalation level for a silent launch.
/li liEnsure compliance with customer requirements and specifications, internal norms, procedures and function guidelines.
/li liMonitoring, support and reporting of the specific manufacturing KDs (Key Deliverables); supporting implementation to ensure gates approval.
/li liSupport the project management tasks and the plant for the product change requests, mitigating quality, cost and timing impact, continuous improvement and VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Effectiveness) activities.
/li /ul h3What Qualifications you will bring /h3 ul liEngineering degree /li li5 years of relevant experience /li liStrong understanding of production processes /li liProject management and project governance Tool knowledge /li liProblem solving approach and analytic tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA, FTA) /li liIndustrial KPI's (OEE, CT, FTQ) knowledge /li liDeep knowledge of IATF***** requirements, related tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP...) and their application /li liGood planning and analytical skills /li liFluent written and spoken English /li /ul h3Other skills that we would welcome /h3 ul liExperience with leading inter-functional team (Engineering and Manufacturing) /li liStrong capability to effectively manage relationships with peers, subordinates, upper management, customers, partners, suppliers.
/li liExpierience in the automotive or electronics industry.
