# Analyst II Data Science **Job Description:** **Essential Job Functions:** * Perform basic data analysis tasks, such as data cleansing, data preprocessing, and data visualization. * Learn and assist in data-driven projects under the guidance of senior team members. * Collaborate with data science team members on data analysis and modeling tasks. * Contribute to data report generation and presentation. * Participate in data collection and quality control activities. * Work on data-related challenges and problem-solving with the team. * Develop foundational data science skills. * Adapt to and apply data science best practices and emerging technologies. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience * Typically, 1+ years of relevant work experience * Basic proficiencies in data handling, introductory statistical analysis,
and data presentation * Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology **Other Qualifications:** * Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus * Possession of relevant certifications in data analysis or data visualization is a plus #LI-DNI At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
