Overview
In this role, you deliver ABB’s service portfolio per standard processes and safety guidelines, solving issues in your area of expertise and supporting customers on-site or remotely. You will liaise with customers and ABB sales teams to understand needs and uncover service growth opportunities. The position emphasizes technical consulting, problem solving, and enabling cost-effective service offerings. You join a team focused on maintaining and expanding service delivery within ABB’s energy/automation domain.

Responsabilità
- Provide technical support and issue resolution on-site or remotely within your expertise
- Evaluate service applications and methods to develop new offerings aligned with customer needs
- Deliver technical consulting to management and customers on service solutions
- Identify and communicate new sales opportunities to customers and ABB sales teams
- Represent the role in line with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines
- Engage with customers and internal teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and timely service delivery
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years in service activities
- Experience coordinating engineering teams on design of control logic for energy production systems (DEHC, BMS, boiler)
- Knowledge of power market software (Reactive Power Regulation Sart)
- 5+ years in commissioning of the listed applications and control logic
- Experience with virtualized systems (configuration, operation, maintenance)
- Proficiency with INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite (Operation, Engineering, Historian) and other ABB automation lines (AC800F/AC800M, S800, AC500)
- Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations for power facilities
- Willingness to travel ~2 weeks per assignment within Italy; occasional short interventions; on-call availability
- Clear communication with customers and cross-functional teams
