Job Description
We are looking for an IT Specialist with solid experience in corporate profile management, cloud platforms, and IT service management. The resource will be part of the DT Operations team and will play a key role in the management and maintenance of Single Sign-On solutions, HP Paa S platforms, Service Now, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The role is intended to be performed 100% on‐site and is intended for Italian residents. At GE Vernova's Aero Alliance site in Florence, our Digital Technology (DT) Operations team is the backbone of day‐to‐day IT delivery for the business. As an IT Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in managing user environments, securing digital identities, and ensuring the cloud platforms and collaboration tools that our teams depend on are running smoothly and securely.
What You'll Do
Manage user environments and device deployment — oversee the deployment and configuration of user PCs and corporate mobile devices in line with company policies and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
platform standards; manage user troubleshooting and resolve day‐to‐day IT issues efficiently.
Administer identity and access management — manage SSO solutions based on Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and Open ID Connect protocols; administer Identity Providers (Id P) including Azure Active Directory (Azure AD); oversee Multi‐Factor Authentication (MFA) platforms such as Ping ID and Yubi Key; manage automated user provisioning and deprovisioning via System for Cross‐domain Identity Management (SCIM); and monitor authentication logs to identify and respond to identity‐related security incidents.
Support cloud and Platform‐as‐a‐Service (Paa S) environments — contribute to the management and optimisation of Paa S infrastructure; collaborate with development teams on the deployment and maintenance of cloud‐native applications; and monitor platform performance, scalability, and service availability.
