Mission

The Senior Instrument Methods Engineer supports offshore operations and facilitates the maintenance activities of the site team through adequate preparation, ensuring that vital equipment on production sites is available as and when required. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, they check repair requirements and quality and drive short- and medium-term improvement methods.

Main functions:

- Review the validity of the preventive Instrumentation maintenance program and check the availability of the means to complete it as and when required.
- Assist the site as required for corrective Instrumentation maintenance.
- Prepare work packs for specific Instrumentation maintenance jobs when requested.
- Analyse CMMS reports within their field of competence and recommend improvement solutions as required.
- Set up and implement technical procedures, and follow up and update Instrumentation maintenance procedures in coordination with client representatives.
- Ensure the quality of Instrumentation maintenance operations: preparation of intervention files, work orders, reporting, and CMMS.
- Maintain a good understanding of HSE rules and respect and apply them.
- Ensure that HSE regulations,



approved operating procedures and standard industry practice are respected during the preparation of maintenance operations placed under their responsibility.

Required Profile

- At least 5 years of general industrial Instrumentation maintenance experience (equivalent experience will also be considered).
- Competence and experience in Instrumentation.
- Experience with CMMS (SAP).
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work offshore under the climatic conditions of the site.
- Ability to work in a multinational team and in a service relationship.
- Proven ability to lead small teams, with natural authority founded on competence and the trust of the team.
- Working language: English (spoken, read and written).

Conditions

- Onshore position, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
- Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 6 days per week (office hours).
- Multicultural working environment.
- Role located at: Power Court Nigeria

Education

- DUT / BTS (French) equivalent, or B.Sc. in Instrumentation Engineering (2.1) or equivalent.
