Overview
In this role you will provide technical support for due diligence, design review, and project management of wind energy projects. Based in Milan, you will conduct desktop analyses, site visits, and cross-disciplinary coordination to de-risk wind developments from development to operation. You’ll work with clients on M&A;, project finance, and technical advisory, shaping robust approaches for wind projects at all stages. This is a hands-on, international role that combines field insights with engineering excellence to support the renewable energy transition.

Responsabilità
- Lead technical due diligence for wind projects under development, construction, and operation
- Conduct site visits to assess terrain, constraints, and risk factors affecting construction and operation
- Monitor construction progress to identify deviations impacting project delivery
- Perform site visits to operating projects to identify long-term operation issues
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and support contract reviews and design assessments
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5+ years in the wind energy sector (engineering or consultancy)
- Experience in project development and project management
- Experience in technical due diligence, electrical and civil design review, site assessment, and contract review
- Experience in operational and performance analysis and wind turbine/site inspections
- Experience in grid connection procedures
- Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages a plus
- Willingness to travel and spend short periods on site
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid driving license
- Charter Engineer qualifications a plus
- Technical knowledge of PV energy and BESS projects a plus
- Knowledge of WindPro, WindSim, WAsP, PVsyst a must
- Energy yield assessments experience a plus
