Overview
Senior Procurement Specialist in our EPC unit leads procurement and logistics for large-scale renewable energy projects. You will partner with Project Directors, Engineering, Construction, Finance and external suppliers to source materials, manage contracts, and ensure timely delivery. This role focuses on aligning procurement with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while driving supplier performance and risk mitigation. You’ll work in a cross-functional environment to enable safe, efficient project delivery and contribute to METLEN’s sustainable energy mission.

Responsabilità
- Manage procurement activities for EPC renewable energy projects ensuring alignment with priorities, budgets and schedules
- Lead supplier engagement across RFQs, quotation analysis, commercial evaluations and contract execution
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and compliance with project requirements
- Serve as main procurement partner for Project Directors and Project Managers, providing status, risks and mitigations
- Coordinate procurement with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Construction, Finance, Quality, Legal, central Procurement)
- Oversee logistics and material deliveries to project sites for efficient material flow
- Support EPC tendering with supplier sourcing, commercial input and market intelligence
- Maintain procurement documentation and reporting in line with procedures and governance standards
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and mitigate procurement risks
Requisiti fondamentali
- 4-6 years of procurement, logistics, or supply chain experience in EPC, construction, industrial, infrastructure, or energy sectors
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations
- Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English
