Overview
In this role you will design, develop and run automated tests for Abbott’s informatics products within a fast-paced, Agile environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory-compliant quality across server, web and cloud components. You will build and maintain automation scripts and contribute SME guidance on automation practices. This position offers impact by strengthening test coverage and accelerating delivery in Core Diagnostics. You will collaborate to address integration risks and drive continuous testing initiatives.
Responsabilità
- Design and execute automated test plans for server, web and cloud informatics products in cross-functional Scrum teams
- Develop and run automated tests (white/black box) across containerized and networked components
- Script and automate test cases to support test-driven development and continuous testing
- Evaluate application architecture, hosting, and dependencies to identify integration risks and craft effective test cases
- Conduct peer automation reviews,
define testing criteria, and communicate results to developers and stakeholders
- Analyze test cases and runs to assess coverage, boundaries, and regression adequacy
- Produce testing documentation aligned with regulatory, security, and privacy standards
- Advise developers on testing procedures, schedules, and potential issues
- Troubleshoot, isolate faults, and perform root-cause analysis during system integration and testing
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum of 2 years in software development or test automation
- Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Experience with requirements and test cases management
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL or other RDBMS
- Fluent in English (read/write/speak)
