Overview
As Senior Data you will build and scale a central data ecosystem that acts as the single source of truth for 60+ sub-brands. You will design high-value data products and robust pipelines to empower BI, AI, and operational efficiency. You’ll lead secure, cost-effective data architectures and partner with analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. This role offers impact across a multi-brand ecosystem and opportunities to shape data governance and semantic layers for advanced analytics.
Responsabilità
- Design and deliver scalable data products that serve as a unified truth across 60+ brands
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Lead secure, cost-efficient data architecture design and governance practices
- Implement data governance frameworks including lineage, metadata, and quality controls
- Collaborate with Analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Tune data platforms for performance, including indexing, query optimization, and schema evolution
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence
Requisiti fondamentali
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data management
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, STEM or related field
- Proven track record deploying stable, high-performance data solutions that drive value
- Experience with Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
- Expert SQL skills and data modeling (Dimensional, Star, Snowflake)
- Cloud experience with AWS or GCP and modern orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt)
- Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD practices
- Data governance, schema evolution, and metadata management
