In this role you will support Ramboll’s mission to drive sustainable change by interpreting environmental regulations and helping clients secure and maintain compliant operations. You will join a growing Compliance and Permitting team, collaborating across Europe on air quality, permits, and impact assessments. You’ll translate complex rules into practical regulatory solutions and contribute to high-impact projects with cross-functional colleagues. Responsabilità
- Critically reviewing and interpreting EU and Italian environmental regulations
- Assisting in preparing major and minor permit applications (e.g. AIA, AUA)
- Assisting in preparing studies under Italia Environmental Impact Assessment legislation (screening di VIA, SIA, VINCA)
- Assisting clients in maintaining operation in compliance with existing environmental permits (air emissions, waste management,
wastewater control)
- Preparing emissions calculations for industrial sources
- Conducting compliance assessment against Best Available Techniques for various industries (Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Waste Treatment)
- Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control
- Conducting reviews of industrial wastewater management according to Italian National and regional legislation
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master of Science in Environmental Engineering
- Demonstrated capabilities in understanding and applying environmental regulations
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, government officials, major customers and senior executives
- Strong analytical abilities and report writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English
- Effective communication with authorities
- Strong analytical thinking

- Regulatory interpretation of EU and Italian environmental laws
- Knowledge of AIA, AUA and VIA/SIA/VINCA processes
