Diaman Partners is a leading Crypto Asset Management firm operating at the intersection of quantitative research and financial markets. We design systematic strategies for digital assets with institutional discipline and technological depth.
We are expanding our research team and looking for a high-potential Quant Researcher ready to grow into a long-term strategic role within the firm.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a high-potential, early-career profile (0–3 years of experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience) with:
Essential requirements
MSc or PhD in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
Experience in using Machine Learning frameworks applied to time series or data
Ability to formalize assumptions and translate real-world problems into rigorous models
Excellent command of Python and its scientific ecosystem (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn; PyTorch or similar a plus)
Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and strategy backtesting (academic projects or personal work also welcome)
Understanding of core concepts in risk management and portfolio construction The following are considered added value
Experience with parallelization and distributed computing (e.g., multiprocessing, GPU acceleration)
Experience with high-frequency datasets or big data environments
Familiarity with crypto market microstructure (centralized exchanges and DeFi, order books, funding rates)
Research publications, open-source contributions, or a demonstrable GitHub portfolio
Experience with data infrastructure (SQL, exchange APIs)

What You Will Do
Develop quantitative strategies on digital assets
Research alpha signals and portfolio construction methodologies
Build and optimize backtesting frameworks
Work on risk modeling and performance attribution
Contribute to systematic trading research and innovation
You will work directly with senior portfolio managers and researchers, accelerating your exposure to real capital allocation decisions.
What We Offer
Initial gross annual salary: €30,000 – €60,000, depending on experience

Selection Process The selection consists of three interviews, assessing respectively the candidate's finance knowledge, programming skills, and personal attitude.
